Committees
The committees of S.A. Sapiens
At S.A. Sapiens, we welcome our members to join one of our committees! Joining one of our committees offers members an opportunity to develop themselves (and worth mentioning on your CV) and expand your network. As this is the first year for S.A. Sapiens, committees will be started to function for the coming years. The committees are divided in the following three clusters: 1) Recreational Cluster, 2) Educational Cluster, and 3) External Relations Cluster.
Recreational Cluster
The recreational cluster focuses on organising events for the members of S.A. Sapiens. This academic year, we are planning to start up two committees within this cluster: Activities Committee (AcCo) and Study Trip Committee (StuTriCo):
Activities Committee (AcCo)
The activity committee organises informal activities for the members of Sapiens. These activities are generally not related to education and aim to strengthen the bond between members themselves and between the members and the association. You can think of borrels (drinks), board game evenings, lasergaming, karting or more!
Study Trip Committee (StuTriCo)
This committee is organizing a study trip to a destination in Europe. This gives S.A. Sapiens members the opportunity to explore what Europe has to offer together, including through visits to companies, international projects and museums.

Educational Cluster
The educational cluster discusses the educational matters members experience within their associated study programme. As S.A. Sapiens is an association for two programmes, each programme gets their own dedicated committee:
SET Education Committee (SetEduCo)
The SET Educational Committee (SetEduCo) is representative for the students of Sustainable Energy Technology in academic matters. They help the Commissioner of Educational Affairs in functioning as the bridge between Sapiens and SET. SetEduCo also acts as an evaluation committee. They send out questionnaires, host feedback sessions, and communicate the findings to the respective teachers.
HE Education Committee (HeEduCo)
The HE Educational Committee (HeEduCo) is representative for the students of Humanitarian Engineering in academic matters. They help the Commissioner of Educational Affairs in functioning as the bridge between Sapiens and Humanitarian Engineering. HeEduCo also acts as an evaluation committee. They send out questionnaires, host feedback sessions, and communicate the findings to the respective teachers.

External Relations cluster
The educational cluster is concerned with the representation and promotion of S.A. Sapiens. This cluster includes one committee, the External Relations committee:
External Relations Committee (ERCo)
The External Relations committee will support the Commissioner of External Affairs in acquiring sponsorship deals. Their goals include: finding sponsorships, searching for companies which are potentially interested in providing lunch lectures or internships, and organizing networking/business fairs. Additionally, this committee gets the opportunity to organize excursions at companies and organisations that are interesting fro the students of Humanitarian Engineering and Sustainable Energy Technology.
